		<description>the sounding of a tingshaw by a meditation leader is used to appraise the focus, intensity and effectiveness of the group meditating... an unbalanced or unfocused group will create a discordant sound while a balanced group will produce a clear tone... the leader uses this to judge when and if another round of meditation is required...

this also applies to chakra... an unbalanced chakra will sound disonant while balanced will produce a clear tone... if the chakra is unbalanced three tonings of the tingshaw may bring it into balance or use a bell and dorje... also for three toning to balance the chakra...

I generally use the tingshaw to test for balance/unbalance and use the bell and dorje to balance...</description>
